Rangers went four points clear of champions Celtic at the top of the SPL table with a comfortable 3-0 win at Dundee.
Early on the Dark Blues almost took the lead as Nacho Novo was denied by a goal-line clearance by Craig Moore.
Soon after Fabian Caballero's intuitive back-heel hit the base of the post with Stefan Klos well beaten in the Gers goal.
However, on the half hour, the visitors went in front as Mikel Arteta's corner was headed against the crossbar by Moore. Michael Mols' follow-up was blocked but Robert Malcolm rammed home the loose ball.
Just before the break Zurab Khizanishvili was sent off for a hauling down Ronald De Boer when the Dutchman was sent clear by Mols.
After the restart Peter Lovenkrands doubled the lead, heading home from Arteta's pin- point delivery into the area.
Georgi Nemsadze's continued to drive the home side forward, but the Dark Blues couldn't find a way back into the game.
Eleven minutes from time it was all over as Moore got on the scoresheet, heading powerfully past Julian Speroni from another Arteta flag-kick
