With reference to your article regarding the Rangers opponents, I''d
like to say that the vast majority of the Livorno fans are very
pleased to welcome you (despite the usual few idiots) and have a
couple of beers with you.
More over, if it will be sunny, you can enjoy our fantastic boulevard
on the seaside, a boat trip down the canals of an ancient
neighbourhood, two old fortress on water, a sightseeing tour and many
cheap shops (you don't need to go to Pisa).
Not a lot of people know that, we are a small but glorious club
(founder member of the serie A in 1929) and 2 times runners-up of the
league - as you can read in this brief summary

past claret shirts, white shorts, black stockings with claret trim or

Virtus Juventusque 1904)

Other titles : A strange one, the first world club to be declared
bankrupted by a tribunal in 1972!
Biggest Win: 11-0 vs Gerbi Pisa (Campionato Centro-Meridionale) 1920-21
Heaviest defeat: 1-10 vs Torino (Lega Nord, Girone A) 1928-29
Highest League Scorer: Mario Magnozzi - 177 goals, 241 caps 1919-1930
Most important derbies and/or rivalries of this club: Pisa (From the
beginning of the last century (revolver shots) since 2002 there have
been many unpleasant incidents
In 2001 Pisa supporters preferred to stop the game (they were
losing 0 -1) against Livorno rather than seeing their team lose: they
thrown hundreds of seats onto the pitch!), Lucchese, Siena, Modena
are the historical ones. Recently Verona, Inter, Roma and Lazio
Main fan groups: Brigate Autonome Livornesi 1999 (B.A.L., now not
active) and in the past ULTRAS FOSSA 1976
PS I hope to see as many as possible Gers fans in Livorno, and
remember: when you are at the railway station, take bus n°1 (direct
to the ground)
Hope this helps
Cheers
