Scotland's range of influence in European football has been extended with the appointment of more members to UEFA committees.
UEFA have announced the composition of the disciplinary bodies,
committees, expert panels, instructors and officials for the coming four
years or more, and there are numerous Scottish football experts
included.

UEFA Referee Committee, Rangers director John McClelland has been
appointed by UEFA to the Club Competitions Committee, and Sheila Begbie,
the SFA's Head of Girls'/Women's Football, has been brought onto

David Taylor, SFA Chief Executive, who maintains his position as a
member of the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body, said: "For Scotland
to have some influence on European football affairs, it is essential
that we are represented where it matters. I am delighted that the
talents of more Scots have been recognised by UEFA and I am sure they
