UEFA Cup versus Viktoria Zizkov
Last updated : 01 September 2002 By Vanderhogg
The draw on Friday paired us with Viktoria Zizkov of the Czech Republic whilst Celtic drew Sudova (who defeated Brann Bergen), Aberdeen will go out to Hertha Berlin and the very lucky Livingston (who should not even be in the competition after Thursday) will also go out to Sturm Graz.
The Zizkov club play in Prague at the Viktoria Stadium with a capacity of 8,000. Good news for Bears is that Zizkov's usual crowd is a couple of thousand and the game has been moved to Slavia Prague's Evzena Rosického ground with a capacity of 19,500 - certainly should provide a greater ticket allocation for Rangers.... that is if the Travel Club doesn't turn into the farce we all expect it to.
