Three Young Rangers In Scotland U19 Squad

With the top two countries going through to the second round, Scotland will be looking to get off to a flier when they face the Faroes at Ayr next Saturday. Coach Ross Mathie hopes a bumper crowd will support the boys, many of whom he considers to be excellent prospects: "A number of the players are being given the opportunity to play first team football at club level, and David Clarkson, for instance, is established at Motherwell, while Scott Brown is making an impact at Hibernian."

In fact, with four Motherwell players in the squad, three of them first team members, their SPL game against Dunfermline could be postponed as a result, believed to be the first time this has been necessary for a youth international.

Here are the fixtures, and if you want to come along, admission is £5 for adults, £2 for children.
