This weeks Fab Four

Forecasts For Saturday 5th March 2003

Let's kick off this week with a couple of blue-nosed fun forecasts for the Grand National, otherwise known as 'The Other Lottery'.

IRIS BLEU @ 12/1 win looks tempting enough for 'Treu Bleus' to get their sweetie money on, 4/1 for a place will return double the entire each way stake.

For those looking for revenge over Roger Rabbits criminal poetry on the Follow Follow messageboard; THE BUNNY BOILER is on offer @ 50/1 to win and 14/1 the place.

Football: This week we are back to that rare event, a full fixture list. So without further ado, here's this week's Fab Four:

EPL - CHARLTON Evs v Leeds

Charlton 7th came off an excellent run of only one defeat in 15 games into a trio of games without a win over the past few weeks. Expect them to get back to winning ways against the hapless Leeds in 16th, with only one winfrom the past nine games thanks to a mid-season clear-out that led to a collapse of their earlier form.

English Div 1 - Crystal Palace v SHEFF UTD 11/8

United in 3rd seeking to consolidate their promotion prospects have had seven wins and two draws from their last nine games. Shouldn't have much problem with today's hosts, Palace, who have had only two wins in their last 12 matches and remain firmly camped mid-division in 12th place.

English Div 3 - Bristol Rov v RUSHDEN & DIAMONDS 11/10

Rushden in 2nd spot, have been beaten only 3 times from their 16 games this year. Rovers a massive 20 places behind them have won only four out of  15 over the same period. Expect the Diamonds to keep up their push for the Championship.

SFL Div 2 - Cowdenbeath v BRECHIN EVS

After that amazing 7-5 scoreline between these two last time, Brechin, in 2nd place, began the following ten match run with a draw, and a winning sequence which was disrupted only by Airdrie who beat them home and away. Cowdenbeath over the same period followed their victorious 7-goal onslaught against today's visitors with a win at Berwick, then came five draws,
three lost, and one win, which keeps them down in 10th. Looks like a day of revenge for City.
