I will be at Ayr on Saturday where the racing looks competitive enough at this stage and I’ll be looking for Hallyard’s Gael and Jazz D’estruval to provide a first and last race double. The main focus of attention will be on LINGO in the 2.50. He has been well supported into 25/1 for the Champion Hurdle itself. This will be his first race over hurdles and if that price is to be believed he must win this race.
Sunday’s racing looks even better and there are a few good looking betting propositions at this stage. The most notable beingJonjo O’Neill’s HASTY PRINCE in the 2.40 Cheltenham. He won so well last time and looks like he can run up a sequence. There are other good horses in the race such as Well Chief, Sporazene and Spectroscope but HASTY PRINCE loks an improver and should be followed.
Not a lot to get excited about at Ayr on Sunday but Carrick Troop could run a big race in the 1.55. Whilst at Haydock Misty Future can win the 1.45 and Kingsmark goes for a remarkable fourth consecutive win in the feature race at 2.50. It looks a very good renewal with Truckers Tavern, Hussard Collonges, Keen Leader Chives and Ad Hoc all due to run. However, the one I like here is SWANSEA BAY if allowed to take his chance.
