On behalf of myself, our sons Craig and Scott, and Drew’s sisters Marjory and Cathryn, I would like to thank everyone at Follow Follow for their kind words and messages of condolence that have done so much to touch our hearts since Drew’s passing.
As you can imagine the last few weeks have been difficult to say the least. But if it is possible then each and every one of you who paid tribute to Drew have made our heavy burden seem just a little bit lighter.
The hundreds of posts and thousands of words from his many friends on FF brought a few smiles among the tears and no doubt our sons Craig and Scott will proudly revisit all your messages in the years to come.
Our thanks also to all those who we met at the funeral, allowing us to put names and faces to the nom de plumes. Their generosity of words was matched in deed by their contribution to a collection for Cancer Research after the funeral that raised £550.
I know Drew often signed off his contributions to FF with the words “We Are The People”. You certainly are.
