This week he’s been out on special driving lessons as he needs to requalify again after the amputation.
Came across as a lovely guy - his attitude is not to feel sorry for himself even though he’s had a few dark moments - ‘you’ve just got to get on with it, there’s always someone worse off then yourself and this has made me count my blessings.’
His testimonial committee will keep us in touch with events - obviously the game next May but there’s other stuff going on - I understand Bears in Coventry are organising a tribute night on Jan 28th for him - will post more details when I get them.
