Setanta Deal Still On

The Setanta pay-per-view deal with the SPL is back on track as the
Dublin-based broadcasters announced they had signed a £2.75m two-year
deal.

Nine fixtures this season and nine next will be available to
subscribers in the UK and Ireland - in addition those already due to be shown live on BBC Scotland will be made available to subscribers.

All 18 games are expected to feature Rangers and Celtic - the fee to be
split 50-50 between the clubs involved in each match which should bring
in somewhere between £300,000 and £400,000 for each club.

The first set the Setanta games is expected to go out on  -  the
weekend of 19/20 October.  The vast majority of games will be kicking off at 12.30  on a Saturday.

The cost of each game will be £7.95.
