The match is taking place at the team's home ground, McDiarmid Park, Perth on Wednesday 26 April, kicking off at 7pm.
Switzerland are currently ranked 28th in the FIFA World rankings and Scotland are ranked 29th so it will be a very close match. The squad has been in preparation for the Switzerland match as part of their qualification campaign and look forward to the challenge ahead.
Anna commented that:
'The level of play throughout this competition has been of an extremely high standard, providing difficult opposition, and the match against Switzerland will be no exception'.
The Scotland team has a full year ahead of them with two qualification matches away from home against the Republic of Ireland and Switzerland and two home matches against Russia and Germany with two friendly matches planned in between.
