The highly thought of Azertyuiop heads the weights and is likely to be favourite over Irish challenger Native Scout who chased home Moscow Flyer in Ireland the other day. They both have excellent prospects, as should Redemption if his jumping holds up. The one I like at a large price is Farmer Jack who could run well provided it doesn’t rain too much.
Over at Haydock, Rooster Booster bids to win his first race since the Champion Hurdle. He has been beaten on both starts this term and we are beginning to run out of excuses for him. I’ll certainly be hoping he wins as I have substantial ante-post vouchers on him for this year’s champion.
Specular a recent import from Australia and the novive Chivalry make it an interesting race. If Kingscliffe runs in the 1.40 at Haydock he should be followed. He seems the most likely horse to give Best Mate something to think about come Gold Cup day. If this is true then he must win today.
Warwick also has some good sport and should Inglis Drever run in the 2.35 he should continue his 100% record over hurdles. Another horse to look out for is Emanic in the 1.35. He created avery strong impression when winning on his only other appearance on the racecourse.
Finally Shboom is entered in several races and should he run in one of them I would take the hint and back him too.
