The 3.05 sees the reappearance of Big Bad Bob who K Fallon choose to ride at
Chester instead of the future Derby winner Kris Kin. He doesn¹t have the
option here and Pat Eddery takes the ride. He must have very good prospects
of winning.
The Coronation Stakes at 3.45 see¹s the 1,000guineas winner Russian Rhythm
take on the fourth from that race Soviet Song. Russian Ryhthm was convincing
in that race but Soviet Song is sure to be better for the run and there may
not be much to choose between them. At the prices I would be most likely to
go for Soviet Song.
I would love to see Foreign Affairs win the 4.20. He has been very highly
tried since winning The Magnet Cup at York two seasons ago and must have a
great chance in this race provided his confidence has not been shattered.
New South Wales looks to have a good opportunity in the Queen¹s Vase at 4.55
if he lines up.
