The first league game of the new campaign - the real start to our season.
For me there will be no meetings before the match, no leafleting, no fanzine selling, no campaigning and arguing.
Usually I don’t take a drink before the game, tonight I will have a few.
Tonight I won’t be worrying about where the money for the programme is going, who is getting a cut out of deals for stadium catering, etc, etc, etc. For the first time in years it will be back to watching The Rangers with no cloud hanging over us.
Yes, we have a long way to go and problems to solve, some remnants of the old regime to be consigned to the dustbin, etc, etc. I could go on but why let these spoil the simple fact that RANGERS ARE SAFE.
Whatever the new regime does, however many hypocrites who were absent during the struggle to cleanse the club hang around like a bad smell - tonight will be very sweet.
To Bears around the world who played their part - well done - let’s enjoy tonight and pray for a great season.
