No switched date for Caley game

Rangers’ plans for a free weekend of preparation before the crucial away match with Artmedia Bratislava have been dashed after the Rangers and Caley Thistle were unable to agree on a suitable date. Caley had agreed to the switch and suggested Saturday, November 12 which is the free weekend for World Cup play-offs. However, some countries have arranged international friendlies for that weekend and after consultations it was concluded that any move to that weekend was was not practical. Caley and Rangers could not agree on a suitable midweek date leaving no alternative but to go ahead on the original game date of Saturday 29th October.
