The 3/4 September is a free weekend for club football as the
internationals are on - Northern Ireland take on Azerbaijan in World
Cup qualifier on Saturday the 3rd - so you can take in that game and
then travel up to Larne.
If you come over a day earlier there is some great horse racing at Down
Royal on the Friday.
The main attraction is obviously the company of fellow Bears - all the
major writers and posters from the website will be there.
We’re arranging a bus from Belfast city centre to larne on the Saturday
if you are staying in the city. Larne itself is a great wee town and
the FF Drinkathon there last year has passed into legend!
It’ll be great to make the acquaintance of Bears old and new - come
along and don’t be shy!
For those from outside the Province the weekend is a great way to see
Northern Ireland; tour the sites of Belfast; go to the game at Windsor
Park and enjoy yourself if great company on the Saturday night. We may
even have a guest appearance or two on the night.
Flights via Easyjet from Glasgow to Belfast are cheap and three times
daily. Larne itself has ferry connections to Troon and Cairnryan.
