ENIC, the sports investment company that Invested £40 million in Rangers in 1997 (this remains a 20 per cent stake) is to sell it¹s shares.
This follows through from legal arguments about share holdings in different clubs held by the same investor. Enic also has shares in Sparta Prague AEK Athens, FC Basel, Vicenza and Spurs. Spurs are the only shares they will keep.
The value of their investment has fallen to £20 million.
