Barry Ferguson will see the Scotland doctor ahead of Saturday's Euro 2002 qualifier with Iceland after Alex McLeish revealed the Ibrox skipper had taken pain-killers to get him through the Old Firm game on Sunday.
Alex McLeish said "I don't want to preempt anything. He's been suffering with it and is sore now. He's had to have some pain killers.
"We will see how he is in the next day or two. But you couldn't stop him playing in this match. He was great and played the captain's part."
